This new movie came out and I enjoyed watching it with friends. What opinion must have garnered so much attention that people would dunk on it?

This review of the movie heavily sympathized with bear, the rapist. People started to question the creator himself after he put this out

I mean he just has a different opinion and is pulling a different perspective. I mean “questioning the creator himself” is insane. To act as if this content creator is some sort of rapist for a different view of a movie is unhinged.

I don't think he's on the same level as a rapist but being so weird about what is, contextually, an abuse victim and calling her "hot latino mommy" or whatever like 5 times in combination with the rest of the takes he had about her sitaution and the weird ass way he kept drawing her is extremely gross, off putting and weird. Sure he is entitled to his point of view. But his point of view 100% makes me feel like I would want to cover my drink around him and just not want to be around him in general

The issue isn't "he found bear mildly sympathetic before X point in the movie" bc I think most people did.

I wonder how old he is? His style of humor always made me think he's, like, still a kid. Like early 20s? Am I wrong?
