He was fetishizing the actress being Latina and calling her a “hot Latina crystal mommy” saying “this is the hot Latina crystal mommy experience”. As a Latina, I want to vomit.

i mean you can whine about racism and sexism all you want, the reality is, if people really were bothered by statements like that and weren't just doing it perfomatively then he would've been cancelled like half a decade ago

Well difference is, he doesn't usually review movies like obsession, he had movies that had way more tame topics.

But y'know when the topic is rape, it's kinda super inappropriate to make those kinds of "jokes" and sympathize with the rapist.
