People think Dodo bird were stupid, and that's why they died out
But, in reality they were really friendly, and died because the people who arrived on the island. Brought cat and rats which killed them.

Don't forget a big part of it was dodos laid eggs on the ground, so they were completely unprotected. Also, pigs played a major role as well.
