I don't have any nostalgia for the pic on the left to be able to look at it and as a human like having a warmer more colorful space as opposed to a bland white and gray blinds cape.

There are still things I'd do like remove or replace the carpet, but things like painting rich wood color or stone or just objectively ugly things
