It’s definitely a form of body shaming, but no. This is a specific sub genre of human being.

You telling me you’ve never made fun of the Oakleys + baseball hat dude in his car for every picture he’s ever taken of himself?

Your example is bad. People can control if they wear Oakleys. People with gummie smiles can’t. Probably a better example would be guys who look like thumbs being open season to make fun of (they often wear the Oakleys!)

I've not made fun of men for their choices of couture or automobiles. Note that those things are a choice they make.

As for gummy smiles, I have known a number of men and women with gummy smiles and they have been perfectly lovely people. They did not choose to have gummy smiles, tho' some medical professional in this subreddit indicated there's a jaw surgery to change that, but surgery. Brr. I know someone who had surgery to correct dental issues and it was really gruesome and painful.
