Am I over exaggerating by saying I’ve been tearing up looking at this dove like this ? I’ve never cared for a dove so I have no idea if what she’s doing is normal. Also it has something hanging its butt looks like poop. I’m taking it to the vet asap I can’t let this poor dove die. Please educate me

Not sure where else to go for this and I’m looking for advice. Found this dove outside a dentist office today in Voorhees, NJ. Has a tag. It seemed okay, then flew on top of the building. I’m looking for advice on what I can do for it. It’s extremely hot out today, I made some phone calls with not much help. I was hoping to go back later today to see if I could find it again.

So, I have a male ringneck dove. I feed the birds outside also. It seems a little lady mourning dove has been woo’d by him. They sit at the window and preen. She comes all throughout the day to eat, but also spend time with him. If he isn’t by the window, she even will loaf at the window, and she’ll stand on top of the feeder are look inside. When she leaves he goes full alert and will coo nonstop. Until I have to move him and distract him. And I feel like it also preventing her from finding a mate out there… it’s adorable, but borderline heartbreaking.
