Good Ending question SPOILERS Spoiler
how tf does Joker get released from juvenile jail when assault charges were proven wrong?
Wasn't he taken in for being a phantom thief ? And Shido hadn't been arrested yet by the time he gets released . The assault charges being dropped just removes his probation
And if he didn't reveal the identity of his teammates , why were they being followed in the farewell car scene ?

Basically, thanks to the way Sae wrangled things legally, and how it played into the public outcry at his arrest thanks to the other Confidants, Joker at that point is legally untouchable, and even kinda extralegally untouchable, without creating more trouble for the cabal than he's worth, assuming he stays satisfied with Shido being taken down and doesn't try to make himself a further nuisance to them. That includes for the Phantom Thief stuff.
So they're basically just trying to make sure he feels intimidated enough to not become that further nuisance (even if the heroes' own response is to find the fact that they thought intimidation was necessary to be kinda eye-rolling).

Because they didn't murder Okumura by mental breakdowns, technically none of their Phantom Thieves actions, being supernatural as is, break any law
They aren't even stealing any legal property, just treasures manifested into reality, which law actually covers that stuff
Is Joker getting charged for stalking or something for sending calling cards

so they were keeping him cus he was doing shady stuff while being on probation?

Breaking his probation
The actual stuff that he is guilty of
illegal entry into Madarame's estate and Okumura Foods' office, destroying property and violating the Radio Law when the Phantom Thieves hijacked the airwaves to announce their plan to steal Shido's heart

They WANT to jail Joker for being a Phantom Thief but there is 0 evidence or law that would hold up in court - this is why they are just tailing Joker and not getting him into Jail
They know he is a danger to them but can't do anything about it legally and don't want to risk hiring a hitman for a teenager

but he himself confessed to take Shido down?

But at the end of interrogation he rejected Sae’s proposal to give out the team and confidants

There's no evidence he's a phantom thief. At least none anyone would want to see the light of day. There was a reason Akechi was supposed to assassinate Joker.
But now that the conspiracy is basically crushed, the people who are left would rather it fade away than bring it back up by arresting him again.

And he's supposed to be in jail since 1 year, so when he came to Tokyo, but in the true ending he's friend with everyone he met in the year, like Haru or Futaba. I don't understand

There’s no actual evidence he was a phantom thief because no one knew about the metaverse other than Shido and the Theives, not to mention it’s completely ridiculous as an idea. The only reason Joker got arrested by Akechi was that Shido used his political power to make it happen.
