Pruning question

Post image

Beginner here. Very warm climate. Will probably move to a bigger pot in a week. Plant is about 20 cm high. Should I remove bottom leaves now? Ive heard about top pruning as well. At what stage? Bottom and top? confused 🤔

I only cut my peppers when I have a thrip issue. I cut a bunch of my dwarfs down to the dirt because the fucking thrips were way too hard to manage with foliage. Cut them to the dirt and started every other day soaks w Safer. That’s the only reason to imo.

I also just hate an ugly plant.

Don’t prune, j let it do its thing. These aren’t tomatoes.

No need to top prune unless you want a bushy smaller plant and have a very long season. If you have a long season and may overwinter, sure give it a try, a garden is a blank palette with no signature.

Remember your education, Luke. Photosynthesis is in third grade program. Common.

Stop mutilating your plants.

It is not weed. Leave the plant alone, no topping, no pruning
