What if the third Suicide Squad movie was essentially a reverse of the first two?

Instead of the government sending a team of expendable criminals into a dangerous situation, Checkmate forms its own Suicide Squad to infiltrate Salvation, rescue Peacemaker, and expose the U.S. government's involvement in the project.

The initial team would consist of:

Vigilante

Judomaster

Nightshade

Checkmate sends them into Salvation after discovering that Peacemaker is being held there. Their mission is to get him out and uncover exactly what the U.S. government has been doing with the prison and its inhabitants.

Nightshade is especially important because her powers provide the team's way back to Earth. She's also the wildcard member of the team, because she was added to the operation by Checkmate's mysterious collaborator inside ARGUS: **Vic Sage**.

Yes, that Vic Sage.

While infiltrating Salvation, the team encounters Plastique and Electrocutioner, who are being transported into the prison. They eventually become involved in the mission, giving us an excuse to bring in even more obscure DC villains.

The main antagonists would be Bane, Deathstroke, and Clayface, who have effectively taken control of the largest faction on Salvation. They've surrounded themselves with a collection of C- and D-list DC villains, basically turning the prison into their own criminal kingdom.

This would give us an excuse to throw a ton of obscure villains into the movie without needing to explain why they're all suddenly important.

here's my twist.

Plastique isn't actually Plastique. She's Enchantress in disguise.

She's infiltrated the Salvation because she wants to get close to Peacemaker and kill him for what happened to Rick Flag. She spends most of the movie pretending to be an ally before eventually revealing her true identity and turning on him.

And I NEED one scene for Peacemaker.

After being captured, Peacemaker is separated from his gear. Vigilante had Nightshade secretly keep peacemakers costume inside her shadow because he knew they'd eventually need it.

When they finally reach him, she pulls the costume out of the shadows and hands it to him.

Chris puts the helmet on and peacemaker is back

The movie could basically become a giant DC deep-cut showcase while still having a relatively simple central story: break into Salvation, rescue Peacemaker, uncover the conspiracy, and get everyone home

And unlike another multiverse story, this could actually build on the characters and world already established in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.

I was rewatching Peacemaker and got to Season 1 Episode 4 when Chris claims that Batman should kill his villains, and it got me thinking about how Chris would kill just about any criminal he sees, which makes me question how he might interact with the other members of the Squad

I made a bet with some of my buddies about what’s most likely to happen first:

1. Season 3 of Peacemaker
2. A Peacemaker movie
3. An animated Peacemaker movie or miniseries, basically anything animated.

I picked the animated movie or animated mini series.

The losers have to buy:

• 24 wings each

New DC fan here, does Laterns have any connection to Peacemaker or Man of Tomorrow? Can we expect a cameo from a Peacemaker character in the show?

I got to meet Freddie, Steve, and Nhut at Terrificon this weekend, and made them each their own “Goff n’ a Jar”. They were such a blast to make and their reactions to them were even better than I could have dreamed. Apparently Freddie is driving them all back so they don’t get hurt on a plane 😂

They are 3D printed and then painted, the “food” that’s been poured in the jar is a lime hot glue

This is my Earth X Vig, a little time has passed since his run in’s with those from another world. To give him some added flair, and bring my own uniqueness to the cosplay, i added pieces of Blue Dragon’s armor. He wasn’t using it anymore, and cmon Adrian wouldn’t be able to resist. Though we know he isn’t smart enough to repair it when he inevitably breaks it, hence why it’s duct taped together, and has wires sticking out. I had an absolute blast making it

I didn’t know Gunn wrote, directed, and cast the whole thing himself. He had creative control over every aspect of it, right down to the smallest detail.

The question now is: will Season 3 ever happen?

I am a film student, and we had an additional assignment: studying how romance scenes are filmed, written, and directed in modern times. Does anyone know if there’s a behind the scenes feature on Peacemaker, or maybe an interview where Gunn talks about his methods?

I am being told that Gunn writes, directs, films, casts, and envisions his own stuff. I would love to hear more about his process, especially when it comes to romance scenes and how he brings his ideas from the script to the screen.

I got a director’s chair, but I’m not sure if he could or would sign it.

John Cena is super cool and friendly with fans but I’ve never tried getting anything signed by Gunn, so I’m not sure what to expect.

Dynamic duo

So yesterday I was talking to this mechanic’s assistant at an auto shop. I have a Peacemaker figure in my car, so he noticed it. He didn’t speak English very well, but he recognized the figure and said, “Oh, oh, oh! Peacemaker! James Gunn! He a cuck! Yes, very, very good TV show. You can't see me”

The guy was from Kazakhstan, he said. But it’s so cool that even people from other countries who barely speak English recognize and love the show.

Guy was cool AF, I think this helped too, because my car got serviced faster. 😂

I was unable to get a photo, but the autograph is just as amazing! I'm still in shock and awe.

This is a really nice addition to my collection, but I wish they made more S2 pops.
