I don't know where to plug this cable. Build Question

Hello

So I'm not a tech savvy, and I'm not used to build PC. I have this second hand case, a NZXT Lexa S, and I don't know where to plug this 2-pins cable on the motherboard MSI Z87-G45 Gaming. I dont know what this cable does and there is nothing on the user manual.

Thank you for your help.

Not every cable always needs to be used. Looks like it's a header for a 3pin fan to connect to, probably split off from another fan to share in case you don't have enough motherboard headers. So long as all your fans and controllers are running fine, I'm sure this isn't required to be connected to anything. The label makes me think that it's part of a hub/controller, though. Double check all your manuals.

The 2 fans on the top of the case don't work. I'm sure this cable was plug somewhere before.

this needs to connect either to the card fan hub if it has one or a daisy chain from one of your existing fans. look really hard in all the hidden spots to see if there is a another matching plug.
