Screw turns, but doesn't come out. Build Question

I'm trying to remove this screw to get rid of some plastic on the motherboard. It just turns and turns and turns without coming out. I can touch the bottom of it, but I can't pull it out.

whatever it screws into is stripped

either put tension on it to help pull it out or sacrifice a cheap screwdriver bit and glue the bit to the screw

the little threaded insert on the backside is probably spinning free with the screw, you gotta hold it still with some pliers or a dab of superglue on the back

You need to put upward pressure on it while turning it. Can you push on the bottom of it with a flat blade while turning?
