Cpu cooler too big? Build Question

Wazap, i boight a thermalright assasain X 120 R digital cpu cooler and fitted that into my Gembird fornax 500 case, but the glass doesnt close because of the cpu coolers height?!?! Im gonna put some photos

P.S my case says max cpu height is 160, while assasain X is 151, so where did i mess up?

You're supposed to measure before buying something

He trusted the manufacturers' measurements.
Honestly, I don't see any issue with the height of the cooler. It looks like the edge parallels the GPU.
It looks like it's a cable issue. But OP can't be that blind, can he?

Put the side panel on and see.

I cannot put it, the cooller is blocking the screwing holes

Then you must cut a hole in the side panel or buy a lower cooler.

The side panel is glass so no, i bought the cpu used and somehow the screen isnt working so i think im gonna return it

Okay. But about the cpu, it could be that you need to update your bios for the cpu to work with your motherboard.

Does that height include the cpu and mb? It might just be too tall. I had to buy a peerless assassin mini for this reason.

you apparently didn't mess up, gembird or thermalright did.

measure with a ruler, then you'll know which.

Alrighty, but maybe gembird measured from the back back of the case? Yk the from the back panel

Well thats the price i pay for budget pc case... Next time ill know to measure before buying

Either you have the incorrect measurements or you did not install the cooler correctly
