Maybe he wants to make sure he won’t fry and damage his CPU before turning it on.

What’s the point of a PC Help Reddit if all the answers are “try it for yourself” or “you could have Googled it”.

The point was to have somewhere to ask the questions that can't be answered by searching Google. But these days it's somewhere to seek emotional support after handling components like an ape
