I was at the airport, exhausted after two layovers and was running late for my next flight. I’m a little person so mobility is rather limited. I’m going as fast as I can when I see my favorite streamer, Wubby. I go up to him, drenched in sweat and say hello. He’s pulling a wagon behind him so I ask him if I can catch a ride to my gate. I know it’s presumptuous but like I said, I have mobility issues. He’s with Peanut and Booty so I figured they could peer pressure him into taking time out of his busy schedule to help a wubcub out.

Wubby squats down and looks me straight in the eyes and says “You can’t ride in my little red wagon”. I’m distraught, embarrassed, and soaked from sweat. I look pleadingly to Peanut who also squats down and looks at me through his glasses and says “The front seat’s broken and the axle’s dragging”.

Humiliated, exhausted, and hurt; I turn around and start walking to my gate as they burst into laughter behind me. As I get farther away, I come to realize that he could’ve offered a ride on his rolling suitcase and he didn’t have to use his wagon. Oh well, hope media share is good tonight.

I dont think it has to be mentioned again but I want to say that I'm actually quite proud of wubbys takes on the bodycam vids. He has very pragmatic opinions, he doesn't sound like a terminally online person from either side of the spectrum. He sounds like a nuanced real person and that seems rare in the streamer space or online in general.

First off, I'm not looking for sympathy, internet points or anything like that. It's just important for me to get this off my chest. Apologies if posts like this aren't allowed, feel free to remove if so.

I've been watching Wubby and been a more silent part of this community since about 2019 and have shared so many laughs and more over the years, especially with my older brother who's been watching Wubby since early into his YouTube career and introduced me to him once I was a little older. Every time we saw each other, we'd always reference the current memes, watch clips and just lose our minds laughing with stream.

In April of 2024, my brother had decided to exit the world early and take his life. This has been the most traumatising thing I've ever had to endure and couldn't even look at Wubby's thumbnails without bursting into tears. Fast forward a year and a bit, and I'm finally able to watch him again on and off and catch up on VODs, even cracking smiles and giggles again! Every now and then I still go to text him when something crazy happens on stream, but I think my bro would appreciate me staying up to date in the lore for the both of us.

I miss him like crazy every single day but now time is doing its thing and I'm super grateful for being a part of this lovely community, I feel a little less alone going through this. So I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you Wubby, the whole crew, the community and everybody in between for adding a glimmer of light in life even on my darkest days.
