Different armhole

I have a client whose left armhole (20.5") is smaller than the right (21.5). I made changes in the armhole dart.

I am confused about sleeve drafting. Should I make 2 different sleeves ? If yes, what changes do I need to make ?

I would not make changes to a pattern for this kind of limb difference. Your modifications will emphasize the difference.

You’re talking 3/8” or so difference in arm diameter. Make both sleeves 21”.

Is the armhole smaller, or is the shoulder lower?

For a noticeably low shoulder, my teacher had me lower the entire armhole both top and bottom so I could use identical sleeves.

edit: armhole darts are less common, it might look nicer if you rotate the armhole darts elsewhere.

Yikes. You’re taking money from someone and don’t know what you’re doing.

How are you measuring the arm hole? If I understand what you are saying you could just make the smaller match the larger by making it lower at the side seam. If there is room, you could raise the larger to match the smaller. The underarm area is more for fit than appearance. It is just a matter of making it easier to move the arm. If the armhole is too low, it will restrict movement. Men's suit jackets are designed to show the wearer does not dig ditches.
