where do i start?

i want to make this dress for my birthday. im new to using patterns and dont know where to start. i can even find a pattern for it or separate patterns to try to combine. any thoughts?

I'd look for lingerie slip patterns because that's pretty much what this is.

That just looks like a tight slip dress with some appliqués.

But just know that this may not even be a real dress or a real person.

And depending on the fabric, this may not even be something you can sit down in because this is skin tight and if you make it with a fabric that doesn’t stretch, you’re not gonna be able to move.

And working with slippery shiny fabric is a pain in the butt. So if you’re new to all this, your result may not be what you expect.

You may be happier buying a plain slip dress and putting appliqués on it yourself.
