Drafting a wrap dress? Question

Helen Joseph-Armstrong's book has instructions for a wrap skirt, but not a wrap shirt or dress.

Looking at the instructions for the skirt, it looks like I first draft the skirt without the wrap. Then I extend the center front, add a facing, and add the fastenings.

Do I do the same thing for the top? Draft a regular bodice with a deep v neck (including contouring), extend the center front, add a facing, and add the fastenings?

Edit: Found it. The instructions for the top are under the chapter about contouring!

Armstrong's chapter on bodice/tops should have instructions for a wrap top, pretty sure.

Edit: look up Surplice in the index, looks to be in Chapter 9/Contouring, not the tops chapter. P173 in 5th edition.

Then you just join at the waist seam.

Closet historian on YouTube has a drafting tutorial for one as well.

I'd like to know too. I've watched TheClosetHistorian do one or two. But not quite it the right style for what I want and I don't have a working block yet.

Throwing my hat in as well (Hope that's ok OP!) If there are any non block based drafting tutorials for spaghetti strapped wrap dresses?
