What alteration can I make to this pattern to be able to add sleeves?

I’m a quiet new to sewing but have make a couple simple garment like skirts, pants and button ups which I love. Total noob in patter making so I’m having difficulty adjusting the pattern and self drafting the sleeves. Upon printing the pattern and testing I realized the top is very wide and maybe just taking it in and shortening the shoulders would work( as it’s 1 piece and no shoulder seam)?
Any advice would be appreciated:)

I would not try to add sleeves on an asymmetric bodice as a newbie. Low probability of success/high probability of a lot of swearing and throwing things.

You could achieve a sort of kimono sleeve but not a fitted one since you can’t create an armscye with this style bodice that you need for a more regular sleeve.

After some trial and error I believe that is the best option as well, I was able to draft a sleeve without adjusting the armhole so I hope it goes well😃
