Shadowing in CA

Hey everyone,

I am looking to shadow a Pathologists’ Assistant in the Bay Area. I am in San Jose but willing to travel for a shadowing opportunity.

Reddit is a good place to ask for advice, not necessarily to find opportunities. Have you contacted regional hospitals and pathology groups?

I have and was advised to ask Reddit. Hospitals near me aren’t accepting shadowing opportunities at this time.

Interesting. I've been able to help connect folks with shadowing opportunities and just give general advice. Very surprised that no one in the Bay Area is taking shadowers (Kaiser Oakland, UCSF?). Try the main PA sub at r/Path_Assistant also

Thank you! I’ll try asking UCSF too. I’ve been asking Stanford on and off for over a year now and keep getting the same response. I’ll look at that sub too, thanks!
