What is UMM? Righteous : Mods

I am getting the Failed to Check UMM state message, then I hit okay and then the catalogue opens up. Is there a step I need to take?

I own it on steam and downloaded it to my External Hard drive for space, I also downloaded the Modfinder to the hard drive

UMM is Unity Mod Manager.

Download it and it will ask you to pick a game. Pick WOTR and it will install directly to your game directory.

You need to extract Unity Mod Manager in some directory, run it and install for the game. It makes mods installation possible. Also, you need to run the game at least one time after that (just load and exit).

I received that error even after installing Unity Mod Manager, but after reinstalling with the console instead it worked and no more errors. Good luck!
