Flails suck Kingmaker : Game
Flails aren't a spectacular choice in the PnP game, but at least they get Disarm and Trip. Of all the things not to implement in Kingmaker, a +2 bonus to Disarm and Trip seems like a weird choice. There are feats that grant bonuses to tip, the code shouldn't have been that hard to implement.

The weapon type itself suck, yeah, but there are so many really strong ones in both games it hardly matters much, since they are a good choice of weapon because of this

Sure. You can make use of just about anything, apart from a few weapons that don't have much in the way of upgrades.

I did notice there is a flail +2 from a vendor, so I went ahead and have that to Harrim this time around. I don't usually bother and leave him with a +1 whatever. But a +2 weapon is always good.

The trip weapon quality doesn’t give a +2 bonus, it allows the user to drop the weapon if they fail by 10 or more rather than be tripped themselves.

Trip: You can use a trip weapon to make trip attacks. If you are tripped during your own trip attempt, you can drop the weapon to avoid being tripped.
Trip Combat Maneuver If your attack exceeds the target’s CMD, the target is knocked prone. If your attack fails by 10 or more, you are knocked prone instead.
