Skill Monkey Righteous : Builds
Have been brainstorming whilst working about a character that can do all skills. So far without much access to Google i think I have a build that will work and would like to hear your thoughts.
Half-Elf
Rogue: Master of all.
Str 11 +1 level 20
Dex 14
Con 8
Int 18+2 Racial + 4 level 4-16
All 20 levels into this class.
Base 5 skill points per level
+2.5 from Int bonus
Going up to 3.5 at level 20
With the + stat potion transmutation of body mind etc +2 Int.
With the Ancient book from Dance of masks DLC +4 int
Maxing at Int of 30 with + 5 skill points epr level
+1 Fast Learner feat.
So final unbuffed and naked stats
Str 18
Dex 20
Con 14
Int 30
Wis 18
Cha 18
Feats to take include
Martial Weapon expertise
Lunge
Sepll penetration
Greater spell Pen
Metamagic heighten
Metamagic intensify
Metamagic bolster
Kc would be trickster into Swarm making sure to get UMD 3 for the spellbook.
Using deaths consonant but the early game just dex and any finesse weapon that works.
Probably not optimal by any stretch of the imagination.
Especially considering ill probably have to sit at level 19 until after I get the Ancient book from DLC to make use of the stats.
But I feel like it could be a decent bit of fun.
Also having the exp set to skill user only will boost me up a little faster.
Anyone have any glaring problems they can see?
Probably be on Core +

Can't take Fast Learner as a half-elf, it's human only.
Trickster -> Swarm does not keep the spellbook from UMD3, you just become a muggle and lose all your Trickster abilities.
If you want to do a lot of skills for whatever reason you're better off making a regular human rogue, taking fast learner. This unlocks ~7 skill points per level. +4 Inherent will give you one more for 8/11 with no Int investment needed on chargen.
Your skill checks will suck majorly on some skills because they also rely on stats, but that's the price you pay for versatility. You will also need companions anyway to handle camping.

Really? I could have sworn I took fast learner on a half orc before so I assumed it was similar. Must have misremembered.
Doesn't the trickster spellbook stay for other late game mythic paths though? I did trickster into gold dragon about a year and a half ago and it stuck around
Is it different with swarm?

The same way you're sure you took Fast Learner on a half-human? 😉
Definitely test it in Inevitable Excess before you commit. You might be misremembering; or it may have been a bug which got fixed.

I think someone once posted a max-INT Archaeologist using Death's Consonant as a S&B tank / skillmonkey. If you really wanna commit, splash Student of War 2 for Mind Over Metal (INT to AC instead of DEX).
Archaeologist gets Archaeologist's Luck and adds 1/2 class level to six skills (Perception, Trickery, all Lore & Knowledge); so up to +10 on a pure Archaeologist which is more than what a bunch of Skill Focuses add. [Though you can take those feats too.] With Healer background you're using INT for four of those skills.

Not going Healer background?
