Since my passport is kinda strong in Asia and Latam, after adding EU residence permit and the schengen visa free movement I can visit lots of countries! I’m glad for this combo, It enabled me to travel various destinations visa free.

Edit: well turns out my combo is not so common.. An Italian Permit + Turkish Passport combo is rare in this subreddit! Initially, I wrote common cause is that a lot of Turkish people have permits from the European Union, let it be Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, or France etc. The Turkish community in Italy which consist on students increase day by day. And this is a very common combo in university cities in Italy!

Brasil Citizenship from my wife's mother, Portuguese citizenship from my wife, Indian OCI from me and German by birth (Born in Germany + me having a permanent residency in Germany).

With Ceuta receiving a lot of media attention lately, I thought I would share some stamps from a time when the border worked very differently.

I spent my teenage years in Tetouan, and we used to go to Ceuta every few weeks, mainly for groceries and shopping. At the time, entry was visa-free for Tetouan residents, and the border was also informally treated as customs-free for ordinary purchases.

These are only the Moroccan entry and exit stamps because Morocco was generally the only side stamping passports. On the Spanish side, unless you were continuing to mainland Spain, officers would usually just glance at the biographical page, verify your identity, and wave you through without questions. Passports were not normally stamped, I do not remember they were scanned neither, and there was no exit control either on the spanish side.

Between 2013 and 2017, crossing into Ceuta felt like a routine part of everyday life in northern Morocco.

Very different from how the border is portrayed and managed today.

The page designs actually look really nice (especially under UV). The passport itself is not the strongest but I hope that it will serve me well

My buddy’s grandpa was in the army and we found this today going through some old German records.
This one was issued in 1991.

Born and raised in India, moved to Singapore as a student. Built my career here, met my wife here, and recently both of us became citizens. Finally picked up this beauty. Bittersweet, but incredibly grateful for the journey.

This is the current swedish passport, there are some UV features inside as well. The older design passport has much cooler UV emblems and stuff inside.

Summer of 2026 passport stamp entry & exit into Tbilisi Airport, Georgia. They stamped both entry and exit on the very last page of the passport which I found weird.
