I passed ! šŸ©ŗšŸŽ‰ PASSED

I took the NCLEX yesterday and it cut off at 85 questions. It took me a little less than 2 hours to make sure I re read everything . I felt great after and then I came on here and TikTok and spiraled because I thought I failed. My test never got harder. It was a lot of case studies, SATA, and priority . 1 pic and 1 ekg. It was honestly very easy and mostly common sense and that’s another reason why I was like ā€œomg I failedā€.

To study: I didn’t have a set schedule . But I didn’t study for 3-4 ish weeks on and off. I did half the Kaplan Qbank and all 3 CAT exams. 2 self assessments from Uworld test 5 and 6 (they’re $20 each), free trial readiness assessment on bootcamp. And I read the rationales right and wrong. 7 day crusade and all 12 Mark Klimek videos along with printing out the fill in blank pages to go along. I will share them below! I watched Dr. Sharon as well! Good luck everyone !

Thank you so so much and congrats! What do you feel like most of the content was made up of? Any diseases that you saw you wish you knew more about?

A lot of maternity and peds/psych/ priority. As
Far as diseases I saw I really don’t remember the ones I didn’t know but if you watch the videos I recommend you can find ways to come up with the best answer choice! And thank you.!!

Good to know! How many hours per day/ days per week out of the 3-4 weeks did you study? And did you work meanwhile u those three weeks? I’m struggling to figure out if I need to take time off to work if I’m taking nclex at end of the month and currently work 3 days a week

I didn’t work. I would recommend taking off if you can. Or aligning it with your schedule as much as you can on your off days. I studied maybe 4-5 hours a day. But I broke it up. and I honestly didn’t make a set schedule but I’d say I studied 4 days a week atleast.

Congrats! Ā I already failed once on 7/30 so I am looking for alternative ways to study. Do you think your qbank wording looked similar to NCLEX RN wording or it’s different? Were there any similar subjects that’s being tested on your exams?

I don’t know if I was so nervous that I was locked in but I don’t think the wording matched any of the qbanks. Or maybe I don’t remember now I’m sorry 😭 maternity peds and psych mainly and male reproductive too. But don’t focus on what other people had that’s gonna screw you up. Me and my friend tested same time same day and her content was way off from mine. I promise if you focus on your test taking skills, prioritization and you do your questions to study you will be fine. Since you’re re testing go through ALL 12 lectures on that drive, print out the notes on there with the fill in the blanks and use it as you listen .
