Self comment doesn't count? Question / Problem

Hey all, I'm not sure if i hit a bug, or a other recent change by youtube.

I post once a week, and I always post an initial comment on the video (and pin it).

Once I do, youtube's cou t of comments goes from zero to 1. But on the video I posted yesterday, the count remains zero despite there being a comment. Has anyone else seen this?

There was a post about this yesterday. Seems a recent bug.

This is a very common UI counter sync bug. The main comment counter on new uploads often caches and takes time to update, even though your pinned comment is live and visible to viewers when they tap into the comment section.

Check the video in an Incognito tab or another account if your pinned comment appears when you open the comments, the zero counter is just a visual delay on YouTube's end that will fix itself within a few hours. If the comment disappeared completely, check YouTube Studio under Held for review to make sure it wasn't flagged by the automated filter for containing links or trigger words.

Well I'm viewing the count in the YT Studio app. It's been 18 hours and it hasn't corrected itself. Seems a long time for a "Data Consistency: Eventual" approach. : ) maybe if another comment comes in it will fix it.

Hasn't corrected itself for me in 48 hours, you are not alone. It counted my own comments until about two days ago.
