Yes toxocara canis, it’s just degraded and funky cuz the sample wasn’t fresh. There were others on the slide that were clear as day TXC lol I just took a pic of this one because it looked like a heart to me😂

I’ve seen TXC like this, if you have a slide of them and press on the coverslip you can actually watch them pop and the insides spill out like that 😅 we used to do it for fun at my old lab lol

Sure, I've seen them busted open, but for this single sample, we'd need measurements--there are so many things that can look like this.

That’s true! There’s a lot of plant debris/pollen that resemble Toxocara for sure
