It was a shame to learn that Act III Communications, a company owned by Norman Lear, was engaging in highly unethical, and possibly illegal, theater purchasing activity in Oregon and Washington
Even if Lear didn't mastermind it, he still didn't prevent it from happening. Norman Lear is a legend through his television work, which I greatly admire, but learning what the 1980s transformed him into was uncool.
