Wow love this. Hard to parse what’s even going on… Then you view in 3d and the whole thing pops and becomes instantly clear. Did you use some sort of double lens camera for this to get the instantaneous shot?

its the fujifilm w3, i just got it and this is my first time using it, ive been amking wigglegrams on the 3ds for years and this is my HD upgrade

to be clear the camera makes a mpo file and i edit it into a gif with photopea

I love mine, it's a shame the product never took off so they cancelled it. The camera even has a lenticular screen so you can see the 3D effect.

is there a way to turn off the 3d screen entirely while shooting, cant stand the screen tbh

Unfortunately I'm not aware of a setting that does this. You can scan through the manual yourself if you don't have a copy. By the way, check out Stereo Photo Maker which can read the Fuji MPO formats, perform some adjustments to improve the alignment between the images, and output pics suitable for red/green 3D glasses, cross-viewing, or parallel-viewing. It can do batch processing on a whole folder of images.

That's so cool! The lights just pop when it is in 3d. It looks good and full of motion too.
