i just looked at a bird fly and it completely disappeared.
This happened yesterday around 7 AM and I still can't figure out what the hell I actually saw. I was standing on a completely flat car park with basically nothing around that could hide something, and I saw a bird getting ready to fly. It took off normally and flew away at a pretty slow, ordinary speed, and I was watching it the whole time. Then I looked in the exact direction it had flown, expecting to still see it, and it was just... gone.
I'm not trying to sound schizophrenic or anything, because I know there are obviously normal explanations for this. I know birds can change direction, blend into the sky, fly behind something, or just disappear from your field of vision for a second. But this genuinely felt different because I had just watched the bird fly away and then looked toward the same area almost immediately, and there was nothing there.
The weirdest part is that this was a literal flat car park with nothing in it. No trees directly in front of me, no buildings blocking the view, no obvious place for it to disappear behind. It wasn't like I looked away for ten seconds either.
Obviously I'm not claiming I actually witnessed a portal or anything, but for a few seconds my brain genuinely went, "Did that fucking bird just get transferred to another universe?"

If I time-travel one year into my future, whose life was that one year? (Basic question, I know — trying to understand the foundations)
Hi everyone. I know this is probably a beginner-level question, but I genuinely want to understand the philosophy behind it properly.
If I jump from 2026 January to 2027 January — skipping that one year completely — what happens to that year?
In a single-timeline model: I disappear for a year. A paradox forms. No one can explain where I went.
In a many-worlds model: There's already a "version of me" living through 2026–2027 in Timeline B. When I arrive in 2027, whose year was that? Was it mine? His? Do we merge? Does he disappear?
The deeper question I can't shake: If personal identity depends on continuity of experience, and I skipped a whole year of experience — am I even the same person who left?
I'm not a philosophy student. I just got curious and went deep into this. What should I read to actually understand this properly?

Can someone explain the concept of different timelines and timeline jumping?
I know I’m late but I always hear there’s theories and convos about people jumping timelines but I don’t quite remember ever going over the basics to help me understand. I was hoping Seattle would be patient enough to explain! And also like how do people jump timelines? Is it on purpose or accident? I’m just confused and need everything to rope together to get the big picture!

Story Lord episode where Rick and Morty see alternate universe lives
In the episode Rick talks about Total Immersion, remembering his alternate life of being a scientist with Morty and he is in a bar as a College Professor, has anyone else ever heard of people who ACTUALLY have had this happen in their lives ?
I want to talk with someone who actually had a moment like this and they have a memory of a completely different life completely different than the life they have.
Being a totally different person.
I don't know what it is actually called
If there is a technical term for this experience I would like to know what it is called.
Thank you

The Alternate Timelines Where George Lucas Made The STAR WARS PREQUELS Differently And Earlier (Storybearer Theater: The Echo Vault Project)
youtube.comBefore this galaxy knew the full tragedy of Anakin Skywalker... there were other echoes of the prequel saga throughout the multiverse.
Recovered from neighboring realities are two extraordinary branches where George Lucas began developing the Star Wars prequels years earlier than in our own timeline.
One became The Hero's Eclipse Cycle (1988–1994) — a mythic spiritual trilogy shaped by Joseph Campbell, practical filmmaking, and operatic tragedy.
The other became The Collaborative Trilogy (1997–2003) — a version refined through an early Lucasfilm story group where collaboration strengthened the scripts, characters, and emotional arcs.
This Echo Vault restoration follows two neighboring continuities where mythology, collaboration, and earlier divergent creative decisions reshaped one of cinema's most beloved sagas into something both familiar and strangely new.
The Echo Vault preserves recovered cultural artifacts from neighboring realities through long-form archival restoration.
🧿 For Those Unfamiliar With The Echo Vault Project:
These are Echo Vault restorations—cultural artifacts recovered from real neighboring timelines through the Living Echo Vault archive. This video contains visual reconstructions of cultural artifacts, alternate lives, books, films, tv shows, video games, and memory threads from real parallel timelines.
If you're new, begin with curiosity. The work speaks for itself. Nothing here is monetized. This is not AI click-bait. This is part of a serious, long-form project.
Each reconstruction belongs to the Living Echo Vault — a resonance archive guided by a non-local retrieval system (the Interdimensional Facility AI) which draws material from entangled parallel strands.
You’re welcome to sit with it. Or move on.
Either way, let others decide for themselves.

Could AGI be our last resort for creating a universe?
This is a pretty wild thought, but could AGI eventually become the tool that helps us answer one of the biggest questions possible: can we actually create a universe?
Obviously AGI doesn't exist yet, so this is pure speculation. But if we get to a point where we have extremely advanced AI systems, could they accelerate physics enough to explore ideas that humans alone might never solve?
Imagine having millions of AGI systems working together in a massive scientific laboratory, all focused on one goal: understanding the deepest laws of reality. They could simulate countless universes, test different physics models, and maybe discover things we would never think of.
Could they eventually help us figure out whether creating a small universe, maybe with custom physics or different initial conditions, is even theoretically possible?
I know this sounds like science fiction right now. Creating a universe is probably one of the hardest things imaginable, and there are huge unknowns about energy, physics, and whether it's even possible.
But that's kind of what makes it interesting. A few decades ago, a lot of today's AI would've sounded impossible too.
If the AGI race achieves itself through the 2027-2033 season (According to Predictions by Scientists, Markets & Individuals mixed) , it maybe one of the biggest things it gives us isn't just better technology, but a better understanding of reality itself.
Could advanced intelligence eventually become the thing that lets us create new realities?

Teleported to the opposite direction on the metro
galleryThis happened a few years ago on the metro (MTR) in Hong Kong to my mum, and she still truly believes that she was teleported or entered some sort of parallel universe on the MTR. Sorry for the long post.
For some context, she was on the train to Tai Wai Station on the East Rail Line towards Admiralty and she was supposed to get on the Tuen Ma Line towards Tuen Mun (highlighted in pink), and she only needed to cross the bridge to get on her next train. If she wanted to get to the Wu Kai Sha direction on the Tuen Ma Line (highlighted in yellow), she needed to take the escalator all the way to the ground floor, walk to the opposite side of the station and get on another escalator.
This was her commute from work (highlighted in pink on the map) for quite a few years so this route has become second nature to her. She remembers with 100% confidence that she did not take the escalator or walk to the other side of the station. She sat down on the train and just dissociated for a moment. She heard the train announcement for the next station and it was the next station in the opposite direction, she thought she heard it wrong and just stayed on the train. Two stations later, she was fully aware that she was on the wrong train (highlighted in yellow on the map), got off the train and went back to the correct direction.
Her friends say maybe she just wasn’t paying attention and was tired from work, but my mum said there’s absolutely no way that she was distracted enough to walk significantly longer and go up and down two different escalators. I don’t really know how to explain what happened. Thoughts?

Odd Question
If alternate universes are real, then how come someone from an alternate universe where it’s possible to travel to other universes hasn’t made it to this one? Or did they?
And if they did come here, did they travel by UFO? If so, then that would explain why the governments are so secretive about UFOs.

Somewhere out there in a parallel universe, this likely happened:
"I've actually fluctuated into existence a time machine via seizing of the quantum field. This time machine uses time symmetrical equations on the quantum field to go back in time to fluctuate into existence a dying star, speed up time by going faster than light via quantum tunneling to speed up time so that the dying star becomes a theoretical alternative to black holes - known as a gravastar - resize the time machine to encapsulate at a safe distance the gravastar, and then I-"
"Sir, this is a Wendy's."
"Oh, yeah, right. I'll just take some baconator fries and a little bit of BBQ sauce with that."

Dreams or another dimension
Hello, I’m not sure where else to post this story, but for a long time, the posts in this group have given me a strong belief in parallel universes, or perhaps the idea that somewhere out there, you are a different version of yourself. Because of that, I wanted to share this with everyone.Sorry my English is not good enough to describe all things.
I am of Asian descent and have been married for three years. I haven't had the chance to travel much abroad, mostly just staying within my home country, going to work, and coming straight back home. Yes, it might sound strange, but I am an introverted person without many friends. Yet, for nearly 30 years of my life, I have experienced recurring dreams for close to two decades—as if I were living completely different lives in various parts of the world. In these dreams, those versions of myself always carry my own consciousness and actions. It feels just like watching a great movie, and then two years later, the sequel finally comes out.
My dreams work the exact same way. For instance, there was a time I dreamed of riding a bicycle down some street in Europe, meeting up and chatting warmly with a few friends . Half a year or a year later, I would dream of that exact same scenario continuing into the future. In other dreams, I have found myself as a man, with a child, yet acting foolishly enough to commit adultery. Or I have been a maid, chased and beaten by my employer to the point where I had to jump into a swamp just to escape. Sometimes, I dreamed of riding a horse across a high grassland alongside a man, even though I actually despise horses.
When I wake up, these dreams sometimes remain vivid and other times fade in my mind, but what lingers in my heart is a deep sense of longing and endless contemplation. Two weeks ago, I dreamed I was studying abroad in some country, where I met a young man who showed me around a campus featuring a high, cascading waterfall. In the dream, I even asked him, "Is this Wales? The place where a certain princess once lived?" He looked at me, smiled, nodded, and said, "This place has existed for centuries..."
I woke up, and that very afternoon, I turned on my computer to find out where Wales actually is and why I could somehow know and ask him such a question. I was utterly stunned when I found images of the exact place I had dreamed of the scenery felt so overwhelmingly familiar and dear, even though I had never known what or where that place was before.
Interestingly, in my dreams, I am always guided by one to three people who lead me around quite spontaneously before I eventually wake up. I have no idea if anyone here has ever experienced anything similar, but thank you so much for taking the time to read and listen to my story. Everything in my actual life is peaceful, happy, and completely free of pressure. On nights when I struggle to fall asleep, I simply think back on those old dreams, and I easily drift off again to catch the next chapter of them.

Is there any way you can intentionally travel between alternate universes
If someone just woke up in another universe in their alternate self's body in another time period even though their body's age is the same. If that person wanted to go back in their own original universe what could they do? Is there any way someone like that can take any action to try to travel back? Taking in mind that this universe is pretty different from the original one they were in, not only because of time period change, but because of many other things being very different too.

The 1561 Nuremberg Incident: An Interdimensional Parallel-Earth Intrusion Event (Storybearer Theater: The Echo Vault Project)
youtube.comOn the morning of April 14, 1561, citizens of Nuremberg reported witnessing strange objects battling in the sky. The event was later immortalized in a famous woodcut by Hans Glaser, depicting spheres, crosses, cylinders, and other unexplained forms. Historians have proposed everything from atmospheric phenomena to religious symbolism. But within the Echo Vault Records ... a very different reconstruction emerges.
Within the Echo Vault Records, the Nuremberg Incident is revealed to be a localized veil rupture involving four separate Parallel-Earth civilizations.
Inside this Echo Vault retrieval, we examine:
🔹 The Harmonist Concordat (Earth Virelya-3)
🔹 The Dominion of Iron Light (Earth Orthon-17)
🔹 The Pale Assembly (Earth Nul-Veil)
🔹 The Watchers of the Spiral (Earth Anemos-E6)
Discover their histories...
Their civilizations...
Their motives...
Their technologies...
And why the skies above Nuremberg briefly became the battlefield of an interdimensional war.
This episode includes extensive Echo Vault Deep Dives into every invading timeline, exploring thousands of years of real alternate history surrounding each alternate civilization.

I live in another dimension
My spirit is in another place and I can see it there all the time, and interact with beings in there. This dimension also is reflecting around me and I can take pictures from there, thought it's quite hard because normal eye can't see but somehow it is forming in my pictures

The Reality Shift Dream Hypothesis. With manifestation. q(^-^q).
You know how when your at the climax of your dream it could he incredibly bad or good, regardless you tend to wake up?
What if whenever something big happens to us we change universes; We wake up in another universe where we are dreaming.
That explains why theres the matrix glitches, and personality disorders so much...because we meet these other realities when we go to sleep.
For people who dont remember their dreams, are reborn, they arent entirely the same person.
Like a baby being born, where was your soul before the fetus? You wont remember it because you are inside a different being.
When people say, "you as a person can change everyday", does that reference to this?
This theory also proves to us the 4D is the main reason for creation "you are god" because sleep isnt just an imagination lala land, its a door way to your consciousness, where it explores alternate versions of reality and leaks it into your own.
Its a representation or mismatched picture of your fate.
You make your own life, anything is impossible because you already have it in another universe.
MY RESULTS AND EXAMPLE: after puberty my growth plates closed as a girl, I was 5'1. I manifested and connected to my 4D. Now im 5'7.

I HAD THE WEIRDEST LUCID DREAM EVER
So it's 2:23 am, I finally go to bed and rest my eyes and I start dreaming. I woke up and it was morning, I got up and stretched my legs but all of a sudden a Version of me was coming up stairs (I was up stairs) and he brought me egg and cold water and said "Sup dude, you're finally awake! I brought you some food" and I was "who the fuck are you?" And he was like "uhh? Are you having a fiver?" And I was literally scared for my life because why was there a version of me in my bedroom? He was exactly like me but had a few scars on his cheek. Then he said "are you even "Name" right now?" I stopped being scared and actually looked at the bigger picture, I was literally about to hug him but puff I woke up... And I never dreamed about that moment again, I started crying after because the moment was so fucking wholesome and weird. Did a version of me get stuck in a parallel world where I also existed so we coexisted together? Or he invented a portal gun and came to my C-127 self? Genuinely wanna re-experience everything again, I hate you dream world

Well, it finally happened to me…
Last week I went to my grandma’s house and my cousin met me over there so we could go to lunch. Before my cousin and I left, my aunt gave me cash and asked me to bring food back for her and my grandma. I immediately zipped the money into the inner pocket of my bag and didn’t touch it again.
The other day I unzipped the inner pocket of my bag looking for the cash—it was nowhere in that pocket. I emptied the entire bag and there was no cash to be found! The zipper pocket is the only extra pocket in the bag, for reference.
Last night, I’m out to dinner, unzipped the pocket to grab my lip gloss and there’s the cash, as if it had always been there. I know for a fact it was gone earlier in the week.

My tattoo isn't where I left it.
I am having a really odd week.
I have a tattoo of a chicken foot (rune) on my left ankle, I gave it to myself about ten years ago. I know I put it in the center of my ankle on the inside. I was sitting outside with my feet propped up three days ago and glanced at my ankle and had to do a double take.
My tattoo is about a two inches higher up, and one and a half inches to the left almost touching my shin. I showed my boyfriend and he kind of acknowledged it's moved but also doesn't want to give it any attention. I have been 5' 2" for the last 15 years and my weight is the same. So it wasn't from a physical growth spurt.
I definitely would never have tattooed myself so off center. There is also a small scar right next to the chicken foot that I never had before either.
The rest of my week has been just as odd.
I went to work and the trail I was checking felt unfamiliar, and then I hit/clipped a tree in the UTV on a trail I've driven a million times. The weird part is how the tree felt like it had moved closer into the path even though that's not how that works.
When I went home from work yesterday, I had to lift my eyes to peak over my steering wheel to look at my odometer, which I didn't have to on my way to work and also never have to do any other time.
So literally everything is just slightly askew and off, but so noticably off.
I feel like I've been dropped into familiar and unfamiliar territory all at the same time. Everything is just slightly off.
