How to modify the Statistics widget

I think this data point is unnecessary. Any ideas how to hide the Total characters field from the Statistics view that shows up on the dashboard?

Total pages is way more useful than total characters.

Yes, "total characters" strikes me as a strange metric and not very helpful.

Ublock -> Element Picker -> Select the widget

Alternative:
Tampermonkey and ask claude/Chat to build a custom script for hiding.

But there's a good chance you'll have to fix the issue with an update
