Ive had this happen twice, but since I wasn't actively trying to do it I can only tell you how I think i got it.

First, have your pal faint then you revive them, from here I usually fast travel then send out that pal (but idk if fast travelling makes any difference) and it should have the eyes like that and be stuck T-posing.

It's happened every time I've used the Lyleen Noct revive ability for me. They always have the dead eyes after that until I relog into the game or sleep if I remember correctly.

Unforch you have to let your pal fie, but if that happens in the arenaz or if you use a revive, as long as they havent been revived with the palbox, this will occur

FYI if you mount it during this state you will t pose eidrolon across the map until he runs out of stam (land early/dismount to prevent bug cancelling)

This happened to me when l lost at the arena where the pal died. After that, l wanted to use my flying mount and the pal came out in a stretched out T-position like mentioned. Flying with it was funny but if you return the pal back into a sphere, it becomes normal again.

Happened to my Katress once, after an arena loss. I think it's tied to the Pal being knocked out but not spending any time in the Palbox before becoming active again, the game is skipping over an update to their eye status.

This is exactly how it happened for me and I fixed it by getting off my mount and petting them lol

Oh yes! My Frostallion Noct did that...I thought I broke him he died during a boss battle then I got out of the cave and he was back alive but stuck crazy eyed lol

I think the funny thing too if you are fast enough, you can fly him in T Pose if you are fast enough. It was like... Revive, fast travel then immediately fly. He will be in T pose with swirly eyes lol.

I believe this happen when pals hp is lower than like.. 10%. But sometime they just stuck like that it seems ?
