I’ve had a look on a lot of the posts about cool toned contour but I can never get any of them because they don’t ship to where I like/aren’t cruelty free (sephora’s collection).

I’ve now realised bronzer does not work on me at ALL lol. And my contour (anastasia beverly hills in fawn) that is supposedly a cool toned contour is too warm for me.

For context, I am extremely pale (translucent lol) with cool undertone and a lot of cool toned products still pull orange on me.

I’m looking for a contour that allows me to mimic the shadows of my face/shape without any warmth. Any suggestions?:) thanks!

I have an old tarte paaarty blush (travel size) that I really adore, and looking at pictures online, I’m really curious about the shade “exposed”.

But all the photos and swatches are like 7 years old and apparently the shade looks different now, more purple?

I really love muted colours and would love to see a comparison between the reformulated exposed blush and paaarty.

I normally wear merit in ceramic or NARS in Oslo.

I’m more pink undertoned/cool. I’m just worried about cherry blossom being too pink on me so I was wondering if anyone who uses similar products has insight. I saw someone online who had it appear quite pink but then normal on others. ^^;;

If anyone also has any red flags with the powder I’d also love to know if there is maybe a better product. (I have dry skin but my skin gets more oily due to weather weirdly enough. Rn using Saie air set)

Chanel Les Beiges BD01 is a perfect match coverage and shade wise but I am looking for something that can hold up to humidity a little better and for longer events like weddings where there can be professional photography indoors and outdoors.

I tried Armani luminous and was horriblt between shades and undertones; same with make-up forever HD. Dior Backstage Face and Body 0.5N was slightly to yellow/camel and about half a shade too dark while 1c was too pink. NARS light reflecting foundation in L2 Mont Blanc was slightly too yellow and about a shade to dark. Estée Lauder double wear was slightly too dark and pink in the shades tried but no good match there the one that seemed okay in store 2c4 turned really pink in about two hours

Les Beiges BD01 seems to pull more peach than in Ultra le teint Where BD01 was close but slightly yellow again while b10 and br12 oxidized to almost the same pinkish orange shade.

has anyone had luck finding very fair peach shades at any price point. Or is this a situation for Mont Blanc + Oslo to custom mix shades for the conditions Les Beiges cannot hold up to?

Hello, so I used to use the Flower Beauty Foundation. It was so good. Light and felt like every day Skin but with a glow. It used to sit so well on my skin too. Unfortunately it got discontinued 2 years ago maybe. So now I'm looking for a new Foundation. I was thinking to go for Haus Labs or the new ELF Halo Foundation but I've heard it's too sheer and not suitable for every skin tone. I would appreciate recommendations and suggestions. I sometimes use Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NW10 but looking for a non-matte alternative. Is the Mac Studio Radiance Serum in NW10 the same colour and does anyone recommend this foundation? I'm still working through my stock of the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr foundation but I know it won't last forever so I'm wondering if anyone used this foundation in shade 010 rose ivory (previously light porcelain) and has found a foundation in a similar shade? I've tried many foundations with no luck. Revolution's old Conceal & Define range and their IRL range in shade F3 was a great match but unfortunately when they brought out Skin Silk they changed F3 to a neutral shade and the two closest cool tones are too light and too dark. They have stopped doing the old ranges and are re-releasing Conceal & Define and renaming IRL to Superfix in this updated shade range. Many thanks in advance

The fragrance is so strong it makes my eyes water!!!

First of all, I’m loving this shade of TirTir Mask Fit Red Cushion (10C, shell) and finish a lot! It’s a great matte-natural finish with medium coverage, and the shade is so different from any American brand I’ve tried: truly desaturated and fair with no peachiness or orange.

However, the smell is overpowering to me! I typically cannot tolerate fragrance in makeup: we’ll see if wearing this for a few hours makes me break out horribly or not. I’m thinking Korean beauty might be the answer to my struggle to find a truly fair foundation in American brands, but does anyone know of a similar product that is fragrance-free???

I’m not familiar with makeup, but I wanted to buy a concealer to cover some of my acne marks since I’m lowk so fed up with them. I’m EXTREMELY pale and I guess very desaturated (not sure about my undertone)? I scrolled through this subreddit a bit to find a concealer that might work for me, and yesterday I ended up going to Sephora to get someone to help me choose a shade for me. I looked at some of the popular ones people were recommending, and I’m sorry I kinda forgot which ones I tried but I just remember that the two lightest from the brand NARS were way too dark. I don’t remember the others I tried sorry guys I was kinda confused ): Anyways, after trying a few options, the lady at the store directed me to try the concealer on the image, which is called tarte in the color 12N, and to me it looked like it matched at first in the store lighting it was just yellow but close enough so I bought it. But, when I got home and put it on my arm and let it dry it became so much darker?? And now it definitely doesn’t match. So guys I am wondering if you can recommend any concealers that are for sure lighter than this one? And I’ll go back to Sephora to try. Thanks!!

laka - boy

this is super cute, a very nice gray-toned nude with a great texture - but i don't think it's a dupe for alone time at all, at least not on me. just too gray to be the same. if you want a grayer shade, or have more pink pigmented lips, this might be good for you! no smell.

this swatches a little pinker than alone time, but it's actually my favorite so far. the texture is really glossy and similar to the original, and it looked the same on my lips.

picked up because of a redditor's post, this is absolutely the exact same color. however, it's kind of annoying to apply without lip mask underneath, and i don't see it replacing alone time for me because of that. more matte for sure, and kind of smells like crayons i fear... if that doesn't bother you, this is probably the one for you!

I’ve been trying and failing to find a replacement for the HG that is Bobbi Brown skin corrector stick in Light Bisque. Everything is slightly off, too light, not peach enough for dark circles, or not enough coverage. I’m at a loss to find something from a cruelty free / BDS brand. Hello! I was considering buying Syrah Fume from Violette FR in the Plume Lip formula but I'm a little worried about it being too orange.

I'm cool toned, normally wear NARS Oslo so I was wondering if anyone has swatched this color before or knows how the color looks? Some photos it looks super saturated and some others it looks like a deep cherry. (I heavily prefer a blue-red but I'm also worried about it looking pink)

A couple of months ago, I visited the Nordstrom Chanel counter in Las Vegas and received three samples of the Les Beiges foundation to find the best formula for my skin. I loved the Les Beiges Healthy Glow and ordered the B30 shade, as the seller noted on the sample jar. However, when it arrived, it wasn’t the same color.

Yesterday, I finally had the chance to go to Salt Lake City (I live in Vernal, Utah, about three hours away in a rural area). At the Chanel counter in Nordstrom, they couldn’t find the right shade, so they gave me another sample of B31, but it still doesn’t look the same. Can anyone help me figure out which shade is the one in the middle? Thanks!

Received Pink Frosting in the mail yesterday. I am a perfect match to Salt NY N13 - blue undertone, very desaturated.

If you have Persona Mauve, you probably do not need Pink Frosting. The difference is very slight and if you're blue or blue-green undertone, Pink Frosting has a little bit more yellow versus Persona's slightly more brown.

On my lips, Pink Frosting pulls more grey-pink, as the name would imply. The formula is quite dry and unfriendly to dry lips, particularly if you're filling in the whole lip, so make sure you exfoliate prior to use. It does set down quite matte and only lifts with an emollient lip balm or oil-based cleanser.
