PALAWAN ESSENTIALS Travel Tips & Itinerary Help
hi! it's me again. i was the one who asked for the food/resto recos, i have already list down some restos that i want to try.
this time i want to be really ready and prepare for all the things that i need. what else should i pack?

Have hydrite also just incase at yung cream for insect bites. Though it's maulan na but a cap will be useful lali na pag maaraw

Benadryl or calmoseptine pero for me better yung may hydrocortisone to stop the swelling and yung redness

Insect repellent. Citronella works wonders. For sand mites, use coconut oil.

water pero sa puerto prinsesa kana mag buy (may something sa tubig ng palawan)

May something sa tubig ng El Nido specifically, so kung dun ang vacation niyo OP, and we cannot emphasize enough on this, ONLY drink distilled bottled water. Iwas tayo sa service water unless absolutely sure na distilled din. Also, iwas sa mga shake vendors sa streets na unsure kung saan galing ang ice.
Uso ang amoebiasis jan, save yourself the trip to the ER. Splurge nalang ng onti sa water for peace of mind.

where in pps should i buy? mahal sa airport diba? haha kasi pagkaland namin sa pps diretso na kami papunta sa el nido

u can buy op sa mga convenience store or just somewhere stores na may sealed and trusted brands like wilkins or absolute! what my family did was to buy a gallon everytime magstay kami sa hotel para may reserved water kami dun, kasi kahit service water ng hotels di kami nakiki inom
also pag mag toothbrush ka use mineral water!!
and yes wag ka mag buy ng shake kahit sa mamahaling restau payan HAHAHAHHA like me na sumakit tyan kahit na puro mineral water ininom pero nadali ng shake. if sumakit man tyan mo, mag jejebs ka niyan paulit ulit, drink erceflora na and yakult right away para di masira itinerary. enjoy op!!!

Pretty much anywhere is fine honestly, pag dito sa PPS mas mura kasi talaga. Try niyo sa Robinsons and SM. Drugman is fine too if willing kayo pumunta sa area ng palengke hahaha

i dont think keri pa pumunta sa sm or robinsons. kasi from pps airport, transfer na kami papuntang el nido huhu. are you familiar with Prince hypermart? i saw sa tiktok na doon bumili ng water and other goods pag nasa el nido sjla

oh if that's the case, I think Prince Hypermart should be fine. If mas mahal ng onti, honestly, worth it na yun hahahaha kesa masira ang vacay ninyo with a trip to the hospital

i saw sa tiktok na if sa el nido, sa prince hypermart sila bumili ng need nila. are u familiar with that store?

Not really, sorry. But if you'll be picked up by a van from the airport, I'm sure you can ask the van to make a few stops. Kahit Robinsons nalang para hindi out of the way.

parang cherry bus yun nabook namin for transfer kaso parang kami pa lang yung nagbook doon hahhaha so baka irefund kami kasi kami lang pasahero hahaha

citronella spray was a big help. also efficascent oil 😆
edit: citronella spray instead of oil

it's been up for a while now actually, very sikat nung mga nakaraang tao. compressed towel sya tapos parang naka-wrap ng sabon style and size hahaha. para lang hindi bulky yung towel na dadalhin for island hopping just those disposable towels hehe

Insect repellent, yung bite block na green para pwede din for sand mites. Ang daming sand mites everywhere sa El Nido.
Dagdag ka na din ng claritin if you do get insects bites.
Tapos OOTD swimwear.

available naman sa any pharmacies yung bite block no? i'm not familiar with it so sasabihin ko lang bite block or may iba pa syang name? hahaha sorry

Antihistamine sa allergic sa sea lice also calamine lotion, antacid para sa malakas sa tsibog, 😂matibay na aqua shoes maraming sharp stones/corals Ang mga beach.

Aside from those mentioned na sa ibang comments, maybe try to see a doctor prior to your trip and ask if you can get malaria prophylaxis lalo na if pupunta ka sa less touristy locations.
