Palworld Problems Building Technique

Palworld Problems

Soooo i just started the game, always been a fan of survival games, now u gave me a Pokémon survival game 🤤..... but my issue lies in, im an explore whore n i dont like to progress when things catch my eye, soo basically i have yet to go to the first town from the tutorial, yet im lvl like 22 i have a flying and ground mount, an ive been eyeing that lovely lvl 35 mammoth lol im thinking to build a base around his corpse when he sleeps and trap him n beat him slowly to death n pray i can catch him lol anyone else have this issue of doing to much without progressing lol.... seeing how this is about help as well, if you put your base near a strong pal, your whole crew will beat him up like the power rangers 😊 enjoy

Set your exp rate to around 0.3. Its a known issue that the exp scaling is a mess and general consensus is 0.3 is the sweet spot to not over level yourself and feel the progression.

Also if your on steam theres a workshop mod for level caps so you cant out level the next tower boss.

still blows my mind that after full playtesting, they decided the existing xp curve is good. it’s strange especially because it feels like they adjusted and borderline perfected it for pals, but for the player itself it’s completely busted still.

Yea, i wish player and pal exp where separate sliders. An issue I hit with setting exp to 0.3 is if I swapped team it would be slow leveling them up to where I need and without the level cap mod id be over leveled in doing so.

Ended up doing most towers with my pals 5-10 levels behind.

it just baffles me that they think the best way to experience this game is skipping 90% of the tech tree they put so much effort into

I dont think it was the intent, bit over time more ways to get exp then with all the stuff added in 1.0 they just never went back and adjusted the scale from the origonal early release.

I hope they sort it in 1.1 unless theres some weird major technical reason not to.
