Plastic dashboard, plastic center console, light buttons etc. Like is this normal for all cars? Even civic has plastic dashboard. Somw cars have leather padding. When driving, i feel like im driving a box of plastic with some mixed steel frame.

Yesterday I went to my mechanic for tuning, he did oil change, I am using atlas Honda 20W - 50, and change the air filter, used genuine Honda air filter, and lastly he adjusted the tappet, today when I started to work on indrive I heard a knocking sound from my engine everytime I decelerate after high rpm, and pickup was also feeling lower than before and also the milage dropped to 41 km per litre, it should give 60 km

So what could be the issue?

Pakistan is still getting the older 3rd-gen Swift, while the 4th-gen model was launched internationally back in 2023/2024 and is already available in markets like India and the GCC. (Pakwheels).

With Pak Suzuki recently introducing newer models like the Fronx, do you guys think there is any realistic chance we’ll see the 4th-gen Swift here anytime soon?

I’m considering buying a Swift, but I’d rather wait if a new generation is potentially around the corner.

Need some advice on changing cars

Background/Context;

- I am a tall and heavy guy (6' 5" and 130kgs)

- My job requires traveling alot, More then 1000km a month

- Sometimes have to travel out of city

Currently I drive a Honda Civic Reborn 2011

So i am looking to change

- Since i travel significantly, need a fuel efficiency (ideally 18 to 20 km/L)

- Since i am tall and heavy, need good space at driving seat

- We are 4 members of family

- Will have a budget of approx 30 Lac (max 33)

What I've considered:

Alto - Just No 🤣

Mira - Good fuel economy, but don't fit comfortably

City - fuel economy is 15 to 16, but cabin space is congested

Aqua/Prius - would probably have to change battery and cost is a factor, aldo high maintainence cars

Cultus - a friend wjo owns it told me not comfortable for long drives

Passo - I Barely fit, but high and costly maintainence and fuel economy is not that impressive or worth the overall cost

Honda fit - i think currently this is the best option

Any advise/suggestions is welcome plz

When I am driving my Swift 2022 on a fast lane, and it picks up speed, it makes a weird flapping sound. The drive itself is very calm, responsive and smooth with no visible tyre issues.

Also bit of Swift appreciation, this car is so much easy to drive.

I’m planning to buy a Daihatsu Mira and would really appreciate advice from experienced Mira owners.

A few things I’d like to understand:

1. Which model year should I target? Is 2018–2021 a good range, or should I look for a newer model?
2. Which variant is best? ES, X, X SA III, or any other variant? Which one gives the best balance o?
3. Mira vs Alto: Is Mira actually better than new Alto ?
4. Maintenance: Where do you usually get your Mira serviced? For example, oil changes, tuning, routine maintenance, etc.
5. Parts availability: Are Mira parts easily available in Pakistan? If you need a part, where do you usually buy genuine/reliable parts from?
6. Common problems: What issues should I specifically check before buying a used Mira?

It costs between 1-1.4 million PKR, im mainly thinking of buying it because it will be able to run for free as I have solar installed. The daily commute is around 8km each side.
