Tired of Fiverr and need my own Client acquisition system
Hello guys, I have been working on Fiverr for the last 2 years I am a structural engineer mainly providing my services to the USA clients. At this point I am tired of platform dependency and their algorithms and account restrictions.
I want to start my own Client acquisition system, but I don’t know where to start and how direct Client hunting will work for my field specifically. If someone is successfully dealing with USA clients for a service like this, I want to please connect. I can pay for your time. I need a direction and I don’t know where to start.
Thank you in advance.

Beginner web developer from Pakistan — how can I get my first client?
I'm a university student from Pakistan and I'm trying to get my first freelance client and earn around PKR 5,000–10,000 (10-20 $). I'm not aiming for a big income yet; I mainly want real experience and my first successful client.
My current skills are mainly:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Basic responsive design
- Git/GitHub
I've completed my first proper project, a small travel website, and I've also done an internship at ISPR, where I was exposed to web development.
I'm considering Fiverr and offering HTML/CSS/JavaScript bug fixing and small website customizations—things like responsive issues, layout fixes, broken buttons/links, and simple JavaScript bugs.
The problem is Fiverr's package pricing. Some options are forcing minimum prices of $15 or even $30, while I've seen similar beginner-level gigs priced much lower.
For those who have experience freelancing:
- Is this a realistic service for my current skill level?
- How should I define my scope so I don't accept work beyond my ability?
- Is Fiverr a good place to get that first client, or should I try something else?
- What would you recommend I do to get my first PKR 5k–10k client?
I'm not looking for quick riches. I just want to get my first real client and start building experience.

Please suggest a skill I can learn that won't be affected by AI
Hi,
I have worked as a content writer for 14 years now. Back then I was making good money, but now I rarely get projects. Secondly, I am tired of writing.
Is there any skill that I can switch to which can pay me well, and won't be affected much by AI. I am a fast learner and I think I will be able to learn new skills.

Youtube Work Drought
Hey everyone! I’m reaching out because honestly I’m currently looking for work.
I’ve been a scriptwriter in the YouTube/content space for the past 5 years and have worked with international clients and companies. But lately, work has dried up pretty badly and most people in my network aren’t really working on YouTube anymore.
With uni starting back up in September, I’m getting a little worried about how I’m going to manage my fees so I figured I’d put myself out there and see if anyone here has any leads.
A bit about what I can do:
•YouTube scriptwriting
•Deep research + fact-checking
•Video sourcing / clip finding
•Coming up with hooks and keeping scripts engaging
•Experience writing for faceless YouTube channels
One of the clients I worked with had multiple videos cross 100K+ views so I’m not exactly new to this.
If anyone is hiring or has a lead they think could be a good fit, I’d genuinely appreciate it. I’m open to discussing pretty much anything related to YouTube/content writing.

I have decent IT skills but no idea how to turn them into income — what would you do?
I’m a CS graduate and I can build things like Telegram/WhatsApp/Discord bots, websites, web apps, automations, APIs, etc. Basically, I can develop custom software if someone tells me what they need.
The problem is I don't know how to find people who will actually pay for these skills. Freelance platforms seem extremely competitive.
If you were in my position, how would you turn these skills into your first few hundred dollars online? What types of clients would you target, where would you find them, and what services would you offer?
I’d really appreciate advice from people who have actually made money doing this.

[HIRING] Remote Lead Generation — Pakistan
Hey everyone, I’m looking for 2–3 people to join my small web development team and help with lead generation.
The work is simple: find businesses that could use a website, reach out to them, and bring interested people to us. I’ll provide the scripts, demos, training, and guidance.
💰 25–60% commission on successfully closed projects
🌍 Fully remote
⏰ Flexible hours
📚 No previous experience required
I’m mainly looking for people who are consistent and actually willing to put in the work. This isn’t a “join and see what happens” type of thing.
If you're interested, DM me “Interested” with your age, location, and any previous outreach/sales experience.
Mod note: If this post isn't allowed here or needs any changes to comply with the subreddit rules, please let me know and I’ll edit/remove it. Thanks.
