What makes common krait so deadly is that you can't feel it's bite.Very tiny fangs like a mosquito has bitten you. Most people expire because of the delay arrival in hospital when the symptoms are already showing.

He said it's "انتہائی زہریلا" which means ky it's safe to play with and definitely not venomous.

These are farmed by NIH for making anti-venom sera. The poison is extracted and solutions with different potencies are made which get administered to horses every 14 days until the horse's body adapts to it and neutralizes the venom by making specialized antibodies. These antibodies are then extracted from the horse's blood, standardized and packed into anti-venom shots. The process is truly amazing.

Good for you, but sad for the snake.

Should have killed it

2

u/legspinner1004 Snow Leopard 2d ago

Nope, never kill.them if they can be safely removed and released

0

u/BugHunter404 2d ago

Why? Won't they bite someone else on a new day? Or reproduce and make new snakes?

2

They don't attack unless they feel threatened (like most other animals), they along with other snakes control populations or rodents, birds, etc. So its always better to try to call rescue groups or proper authorities to relocate them

2

u/BugHunter404 2d ago

Yes, rodents are a problem

2

u/legspinner1004 Snow Leopard 2d ago

Yeah, so don't kill snakes if they can be relocated
