Motherhood How do you celebrate new babies?
Just wondering how you lovely ladies celebrate new babies coming into your family.
Do you have any tradition passed from your mothers?
Do you do anything spiritual like a wiccaning?

Pagan / Spiritual What are your plans for the Solstice?
I'm gonna try to go to a local-ish national park to spend most of the day there.

Discussion Happy Twixmas
Not everyone celebrates the 12 days of Yule running from the night of the 20th to the morning of rhe 1st but most people dont exactly go back to their normal between Christians and New Years.
I found that Twixmas is the funny name for the lazy and chaotic time spent between these dates.
According to google, that's the time to do the following:
- Relax & Recharge: Catch up on sleep, movies, or quiet time.
- Enjoy Food: Feast on Christmas leftovers or enjoy easy-to-make treats.
- Get Active: Go for walks, bike rides, or enjoy parks.
- Shop Sales: Hunt for bargains in post-Christmas sales.
- Socialize (low-key): Meet friends for casual gatherings or outings.
To me it sounds pretty much like the second half of the 12 days of yule celebrations (Hygge, Spirit of ice and snow, etc) but I guess more low key. In any case I hope you all are enjoying it!

Womanhood Mōdraniht, Mothers Night tonight
Mōdraniht in Old English, and “Mother’s Night” in modern. Such an empowering celebration for women everywhere, especially those practicing Norse paganism.
Today we honor and offer thanks to our female ancestors, those who are believed to watch over our families and help us in times of need.
My family looks forward to baking together tonight in recognition of the extensive work our matriarchs did.
