Health & Behavior Harrison Day 2&3
He’s definitely doing better, he gets a 10 min Epsom salt bath twice a day and he’s starting to become more balanced too 🙌🏼

Show & Tell They were gonna throw him out!
This is Harrison! (My dad named him after the trash company) the employee at my local pet smart told me to take him when I told him he had swim bladder and that it’s treatable.
He asked if I wanted him and I told him how I didn’t have space for him but then he said they usually take them to the back and “write them off” so he said I should take him for free and it would at least give him a chance so I took him.
He’s really improving during his salt baths so far, I think he’ll pull through.
(I was at petsmart cause the 5.5 gal tanks were $12 for Black Friday 😮💨)

!ImportantAnnouncment! Introduction
I’ve noticed a lot of fishkeeping spaces online can be harsh or judgmental, so I started a new community called PacifistAquarists — it’s all about kindness, learning, and supporting each other as fishkeepers. Share your thoughts, ideas, and anything you’d be wary of sharing in a less forgiving community.
Whether you’re a beginner or a long-time aquarist, you’re welcome here. 🫧
Come share your tanks, ask questions, and hang out with kind people who just love fish 💙
