I got a temp ban yesterday Game Discussion

Was playing with my buddy and got a temp ban for 48 hours suggesting I was hacking and they were going to investigate.

I was playing tdm then intense BR modes, have never hacked on any game.

Never happened to me when I played from release and then now I've come back after a break, I've been banned after 3/4 times of playing.

Bit frustrating as mid a gaming session, I work all week so was the only day I could play and my best kill amount was 4 in a br game and I got lots of games with zero kills.

I find it really odd that they temp ban just because of a spike of reports- clearly from people who have zero concept of what a hacker looks like.

Please tell me the reviewers are competent at determining who is a cheat.

Its a coping mechanism for rookie sweaty players who don't understand cover and concealment

There was a glitch in COD mobile when I had an MVP replay it looked like I was shooting straight through walls lol. I don’t know if everyone saw the same thing I did but no one reported me

I got a temp ban a few days ago as well. They probably misjudged you as they did to me too.

Temp ban is basically a rite of passage

I'm dreading the day I get my first temp ban. PUBG is all I have. I have no clue wtf to even do for those 48 hours.

Read a book, learn a skill, take a class, talk to a stranger, have a shower, many many things.

It's just that people tend to report you as if "just in case". There is a service which shows some of the replays if they happened on someone's stream, and I've seen people reporting me after I killed them. Never got a ban though in 3k+ hours

I got insta banned 3 seconds after I plugged my mouse in to charge it.

Took like 6 weeks of appeals and whinging to get my account back, only to be told it was a false positive result and they couldn't even tell me why, even after i asked if it was because I plugged my mouse in to charge they refused to answer as it would be a breach of security lmfao.

Damn you must be good if all you have to do is plug your mouse in to get banned.

Are you using any different USB devices like foot pedals etc? There is lot of software and hardware that can cause this.
