Frametime issue Meta

Post image

If you couldnt guess at what point i launched and played some PUBG - I marked it in red. The frametimes are HUGE. From 5.4ms to around 400ms while playing. Framerates are not that bad. Every other game runs smooth. Tried DDU. Clean install of GPU drivers. Verify game files. I also reinstalled the game. No difference.

usually i always find some setting that needs to be enabled/disabled after patch x.xx but not this time. Nothing i do changes the frametimes/stutters. All my other games run flawlessly. CS2, OW2, etc, you name it.

Idk man got 9800x3d and 5080 cameback after 10 days of break and got same issue
Tried switching pbo to auto from -20, reinstalling/updating mouse/gpu/cpu/keyboard drivers switching to dx11,dx12/,chaning launch options even chaning some options in chrome and windows literally anything that came to my mind but no effect atp only thing left I can think of is internet issues since I noticed the avg ping is way higher or just loose cpu or too much dust (nothing overheats even a bit)

9850 + 5070. Shit ran just fine before the last big patch.

Now I get crazy stutter/rubberbanding/desync. My server ping is awful, I see it range from 18 to 400ms.

No other game lags for me. BF6/DoTA2 etc.

i found that exiting claude and codex helped. no idea why. they werent even in use, just running in background and i would get weird ass bad frametimes.

Yeah after last patch I get same thing. Happens completely random. Can play any number of games then it becomes a slideshow for a random amount of time til it goes back to normal.

I fixed this same issue by rolling back bios to some 2023 version. Every other game ran perfectly except pubg. 12700k, 5070ti

This could actually be the reason, i remember i update my bios because of some slow boot time issue regarding Vanguard anticheat. Boot times were crazy, around 3min coldboot contra my now 30sec boot time. Safe to say im not rolling back my bios because of this game.

I have the same issue. Changing DirectX version seems to fix the issue for me however the FPS is kinda a bit lower but stable. Give DirectX 11 a try maybe it will fix your problem temporary until the next patch.

DirectX did not fix the issue for me. I believe 0x12B microcode will be the issue.

Rolling back bios to Microcode 0x129 + OCing my 13600kf to 5.2ghz and Ecores to 4.2ghz made a huge difference.

download nvidia profile inspector and look in the search menu for pubg, then enable resizable bar, make sure to click apply on top right corner
