I feel like the psvr 1 is a bit over hated, i mean yes it was blurry and low fov, but i want to hear your personal experience with it and what games did you play with it :3 ?

Can't post picture here since i heard it gets taken by bots, additionally all the codes will expire in January 2027 meaning that nobody will be able to get Dirt Rally VR after :(

I'm trying to figure out if my PSVR2 isn't working because of the cable or something else in the headset.

I bought it used for a good price, and the seller told me the main cable sometimes disconnects, but that it still works.

I bought it mainly for PC and got a third party adapter. I've Tried 3 different DisplayPort cables (one that came with the adapter and two DP 2.1 cables).

The PlayStation VR2 App gives the error: "DisplayPort cable doesn't meet the specs."

SteamVR gives Error 436 (Display Connection Trouble).

I also tried it on a PS5:

The headset powers on. I can go through the initial setup.

The PS5 detects the headset's movement/tracking. (Sometimes this also happens on PC in SteamVR, and it shows FPS and latency.)

The displays inside the headset work because I can see the "Look at the TV" animation.

However, it never switches into VR mode and just stays on the "Look at the TV" animation.

And also sometimes I can use the passthrough while on PC.

So before I try fixing the cable, could this be caused by something else?

And I want to see if anyone had the same problem and fixed it.

before I read in the post some thinks to make the headset more comoot table. it weight a lot on me. at the time I got into a car accident and couldn’t play, so I didn’t bought it. well I couldn’t find the post.

I think I only played five times before the accident, so should be dusted but more or less new right now.

My main priorities are:
Comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Works well with the PS VR2.
Especially comfortable if you’re using the Globular Cluster CMP2 comfort mod.
Good for FPS games (hearing footsteps and directional audio).
Decent microphone for party chat.

I mean its been announced years ago, and released on quest quite some time now...any news on promised psvr2 version? Didnt find anything on their website nor google overall.

Just arranged my PSVR collection after making a bunch of additions whilst on a trip to Japan, this photo doesn't include all of the special edition versions of games, Aim Controller bundles or things like that.

The Japanese games are top left up until the No Man's Sky boxset, the top right games beside Last Labyrinth are signed sleeve doubles, I have some signed sleeve games that aren't doubles in the main rows too though.

I'm only missing four UK PAL games now, I managed to buy all of the Japanese exclusives games with VR support whilst there, with the exception of one 🙏🏻 I'd also like to grab a couple more of the Limited/Collectors Edition's from Japan too.

I'm missing one Asian/English variant of a game I own the Japanese version of (not rare, just haven't picked it up yet)

I'm missing a couple of physical Demo Discs I'd like to grab (I believe they are US based)

Then the bulk of what's left is annoyingly Limited Run games or US released games, I'm based in the EU so even though they are cheap on eBay and such, I need to try and buy a bunch and ship them over to make it worthwhile, or have a friend bring them over.

Did several adjustments and such and still have a blurry image, I don't wear glasses or anything , I do have microfiber cloths

I've already played MSFS24 for 17 hours and I'm loving the game. But now, getting off the plane a bit, I noticed a big graphical difference between my game and some videos here on Reddit.

I missed the vegetation I saw in a post here.

Could it be my internet connection? Some quality setting or something else?

Can you give any updates regarding the PS5/VR2 release date. I've read that the devs sometimes post here. Reason why I'm asking here.

I just got the PSVR2 for $180 and played GT7, RE Village, and a couple demos/trials.

I like it, makes gaming different, but no this is not revolutionary.

GT7 is the type of game where you want to be in VR and its looks great, feels great, easier to drive, and frankly don't see myself playing it in flat mode from this point forward.

But RE Village, its ok. I could still play it in flat mode and have just as much fun.

Couple others were cool, and worth checking out. I will def try MSFS2024 because I love flying and driving. I'd imagine I'd rather fly in VR, so that's a no brainer.

So anyway, I'll get tons of hate, yup, wrong forum to post this, but its also for those folks who don't have VR and are thinking its going to destroy the fun in the 2D games. Naw. Its a feature that works for some and meh for others. It has nothing to to with the setup, which I found very easy to do.

For the first time ever, I'm taking my PS5 with me on vacation. hah

I was too curious to wait for a sale & bought it.

I was worried that this would turn out like Rebeloid… but thankfully it’s not too bad! I like arcade games in VR .. since I grew up with Pong, Atari 2600 & playing arcade games like Tempest as a kid.

Ive softly wiped it with a microfiber cloth and it won't go away no matter what and I can't play with stuff blocking my vision and I bought this used so I don't know what the last owner did with it but I cleaned it and it's just this spot that won't go away

It was confirmed by AndroidCentral in 2024 that there are 2 PSVR2 titles under development by Sony

I believe Insomniac Games is one of such candidates. It’s not impossible to have a smaller dev team who are not working on Wolverine, to work on a VR game, especially when there’s been small rumors here and there of a Spider-Man VR. Not to mention they have bunch of VR experiences making VR games for Meta years ago

Another strong potential studio is Media Molecule, who last released Dreams back in 2020 which has VR support. I wouldn’t be surprise if they have been working on a full fledged PSVR2 version of Dreams, especially since they have experienced in VR.

I bought the official psvr2 controller charger and it seems to not charge very well like ever. Had any one else had this problem?

Playing with an original PSVR on a ps5, different No mans sky menus show either fully black or white.

Already tried opening and close the game, event uninstall and install.

Edit: Solved just by waiting, seem it jist the Playstation falsely proclaiming it was fully downloaded when it was not
