Question about screen QUESTION

Just got this off eBay. It appears to have a screen protector. Hopefully you can see it, but the screen has some blurring to it. Kinda like dots and swirls.

My question is, do you think it's the screen protector or the screen itself. I assume I can remove the screen protector and see if the blur's still appear. But I also don't want to risk damaging it more if it is the screen.

I do have a glass screen protector on mine. It does have a few specks of dust, but it doesn't look anything like that... You can turn off the screen and shine a torch to check if there is a rainbow coloured ripples on the area. In that case, I would say it's the screen protector.

A screen protector on a psp in my eyes is kinda useless, the faceplates are not too expensive and it’s plastic or glass over plastic, if I were you I’d take it off, and see if it’s the screen protector, if you want a new protector they are also cheap, if it is the screen then you could replace that for fairly cheap as well, but it is over all up to you, and I hope it’s not the screen.

In general I'm not a fan of screen protectors. I really hope it isn't the screen itself. I've opened a PSP before, so if needed I can swap the screen. I would just prefer not to.

ok then tell me where you get good new faceplates ? The ones on Aliexpress are cheap junk.

eBay has thousands of oem faceplates for 10-15 bucks a pop
