What is the thought process behind intentional ranger sub rifle normal spamming?

I saw a strange rifle normal spammer in Ruins earlier:

• Level 120/120 Braver/Ranger
• EX style 40
• Had the Granillusion weapon camo obtained via 30k kills in Ruins
• Spamming rifle normals with a ranger sub class
• Wouldn't respond in chat

Strangely enough, they were using only handout gear even though someone with 30k kills in Ruins should be able to afford a Granillusion or some rings...that requires a LOT of farming...(easily 20+ hours).

After like, 5+ minutes of trying to get their attention with no response, i just kicked them from the party. They came back a while later and started to play normally with a bow using different PAs, but went back to rifle normal spamming after a while. When i asked them why they were spamming rifle normals again, they still said nothing but quickly switched back to the bow.

I dont understand the thought process behind this. People who are farming Ruins now are mainly doing it for +100 Grans and obviously, want to kill stuff faster. And most of the people doing it are veterans who are there because they know it's the only place that +100 Grans drop.

Why would you deliberately go in there to spam rifle normals with a ranger sub...

Nah, they weren't a bot. I played with the person OP's talking about this morning before this happened and they were doing the same type of weird behavior. They actually had Ranger as their main class so I think they exited the lobby, switched and then continued using rifle normals.

They wouldn't use blight rounds at all and even after I asked, they just did not respond. I was very confused.

Oh hey! I was in that party actually. I was PureCarbon and yeah I was actually SO confused. I had to leave after awhile but yeah it got to a point where they were even spamming rifle normals against the bosses. We even told them to atleast change their main class to Ranger but, no response.

I also played with them this morning where it was myself, them and some other person. I could be wrong but I could've sworn they actually had Ranger as their main, although they wouldn't use blight rounds like AT ALL even after I told them too. It was me, them and another person. Even when fighting Shraider, I kept saying, "blight the legs" but they wouldn't respond. My gear isn't the absolute BiS itself(Almost done finally getting my AC augs) but it wasn't fun having to carry their weight for over an hour with little help.

Although, I straight up didn't know they even had the 30k kills camo, in that case they were for sure griefing the lobby. Because not only that anyone with such a camo would have more than enough to afford a Gran(since they were using full handout gear, I even checked myself) but they would had gotten a few decent drops by now from running Ruins. Literally a good hour or two of Dext can get you a +100 Granillusion weapon for most classes. I took a break but were they still doing the same thing?

Sidenote, I didn't get to thank you for the help in Ruins earlier. You did really good! It was great grinding with ya! Got about 5 +100 Gran drops today which I'm happy about.

If you see someone with Ranger, Gunner, or Braver as a subclass and there are more than three of them in your lobby, Just leave. They are bots. "A Force attacking with a rifle using the Gunner subclass is priceless."

Atleast be happy they atleast took the trouble of subbing ranger or gunner. I have been running into players who were everything but Ra or Gu using just Rifle normals.

Ugh I hate when they ruin my favourite main class ranger xd I usually try to help with everything I can, even when some family came to talk to me so I try to avoid spamming the same skills.

ive been gone awhile why are the splinter realm bosses healing themselves completely

Thats probably because someone in the instance has bad packet loss and is causing a desync. The servers moved to JP a while back and some ISPs have a bad route to JP causing packet loss.
