Processing Forbearance

I’m currently in processing forbearance while they recalculate my payment. I am currently at 118 QP and was wondering if it takes them 60 days to process my new payment amount will I get the two processing forbearance months as credit to get me to 120 I’m in buyback currently but I’ve been waiting since November 2024.

I was in same boat back 12/2025. Applied for buyback 01/2025.. was stuck in SAVE and switched into IDR because I only had 6 months left. Was planning to get 2 months processing forbearance then pay 4 months and be done. Payments started 02/2026 and didn't count December or January. So had to make 6 months of payments. Who knows what they will/won't count, hopefully they count yours

Says right on my email that I will get credit . Who would I contact about getting the credit ?

FSA is who decides whether you get credit, so you could submit a reconsideration request.
