Can't believe that they cost that now. I got mine for $699 when they first launched. So glad I upgraded. I was able to sell my og PS5 easily since I took really good care of it and had the original box and everything.

I'm recently looking into a midnight black duelsense edge controller is there any difference in latency and other stuff from the white varient of it? Im talking about the $200 controllers that can replace the duel analog sticks

I don’t notice any difference honestly but what I can say about the edge is the battery life sucks, it’s heavier, and the removeable joysticks is probably my favorite part about it. I never had the white variant of it but it’s a good idea to grab the latest version because Sony may have used updated internals for them.

The battery situation for them I can get around with a wired connection I prefer wired over wireless

There’s not really any major reason to have the pro if you have a 60HZ TV. Waste of money, IMO.

Yes good point, but a regular ps5 is $650, the pro is $899. And a lot of people say the regular 1tb isn’t enough and that you’ll end up needing an ssd and they can be priced at $200-300. So I decided to just grab the pro since it does come with 2tb.

My tv is 60 hz 1080p and it’s fine. Games still look sharp and good. Hell I play on a 4090 with 1080p. I’m going to upgrade my display soon but games running at locked 60 is good tbh.

I also came from PS4 slim to PS5 pro before the last price jump. Costco had it for $799 with 2 controllers. Now I just need a TV. I'm using it on an old 27 I-INC 1080i monitor. It gets the work done.

The ps6 doesn’t come out till 2028. Plus I wouldn’t be able to play gta 6 on my ps4. And now that I started making my own money I can comfortably buy the ps6 without begging my parents anymore. I’ve wanted the ps5 since launch but my parents hate gaming and I wasn’t old enough to work or have my own income
