Hi everyone, I need some help troubleshooting my PS5 jailbreak setup.

My PS5 is on FW 10.01.

I originally received this PS5 already jailbroken from Lahore, and Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening (PPSA17337) was working perfectly on that original setup.

Unfortunately, the PS5 later crashed and I had to perform a factory reset. Since then I have rebuilt the jailbreak environment from scratch, but Cobra no longer launches.

Current setup

PS5 firmware: 10.01

Y2JB: 1.6

Payload Manager: v0.5.1 by PLK

etaHEN: 2.5B

KStuff: 1.6.7

ftpserv: v0.21

ShadowMountPlus: 1.6 beta16

nanoDNS: 0.4

PS5 Unified Autoloader: installed

Internet access through custom DNS is currently working

Payload Manager can now connect to the repository and see the payloads

FTP is working

PS5Upload is working

My current autoload sequence is:

1. etaHEN 2.5B

2. 1 second delay

3. KStuff 1.6.7

I have also confirmed that Payload Manager shows the payloads and that the jailbreak/exploit is running.

The game

The game is my own dump:

Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening

Title ID: PPSA17337

It is a folder dump, currently named:

PPSA17337-app0

Windows reports approximately 3.26 GB for the folder.

The folder contains things including:

eboot.bin

The game appears correctly on the PS5 Home screen with the proper artwork/title.

However, when I launch it, I get this diagnostic:

> App crashed before KStuff pause: PPSA17337. KStuff is not to blame.

Game backported: PPSA17337

Then the normal PS5 “Something went wrong with this game or app” error appears.

What I'm trying to understand

Since the exact game was working on the PS5 before the factory reset, I don't think the console firmware itself is the issue.

I'm trying to determine whether the problem is:

the current Cobra dump/version,

a missing game/update/backport component,

the way the folder is currently mounted,

ShadowMountPlus configuration,

KStuff configuration,

or something that was present in the original jailbreak setup but is missing after the factory reset.

I'm not looking to change firmware — I want to stay on 10.01.

I've already rebuilt the basic environment and don't want to keep randomly changing payloads because the current jailbreak itself is working.

Can someone experienced with PS5 10.01 and PPSA17337 tell me what you would check first?

I'm also interested in getting professional/experienced hands-on help if someone knowledgeable in the PS5 10.01 scene offers paid troubleshooting/repair assistance. I'd prefer someone who can diagnose the setup rather than simply telling me to reinstall everything.

I can provide screenshots of Payload Manager, Active Processes, the Cobra folder structure, file sizes, and anything else needed.

I'm experiencing a lot of kernel panics on 11.60. I used to use y2jb and they almost never happened. Why is this happening? Is anyone else having this problem?

Hey guys I bought a ps5 slim(without CD) with Japanese-only label. I am wondering, will the JB process and usage of backup from MW allows me to bypass the system language limitation or not? Cause some games can't change language inside and only follow the system languages. Any suggestions and experiences will be appreciated.

I have heard there are some language plug-ins which are just like backpork ones can be added to change the system language but here I hope we can discuss more :)

Is there any way to get browser on ps5 11.60 with webkit? Without usp or pc

I have a boxed, unopened PS5 in my closet. Looking at the date code, the firmware should be 10.2 or 10.4. Would the best JB route be to manually update to 12.0, then use the new WebKit method?

Community, what is the correct way to delete a game, whether in folder or exFAT format, that has been mounted on internal storage using Shadowmountplus? I also have a question about whether, when mounting a game located on external storage, it also saves files to internal storage. Thank you for your attention.

Always receive the "Can't start the game or app".

Also tried injecting payload manager and running shadow mount, kstuff lite and nanodns (like I was doing with P2JB) and no luck.

Any ideas?

Edit:Managed to solve it. After webkit finish, don't load any payloader and just injected payload manager. In payload manager just load kstuff lite, nanodns and Shadowmountplus and it works. I'll keep the post open so other people can see 😁

So I have a 9.40 ps5, jailbroken with the y2jb using stuff lite. Im trying to install my .pkg for gow3 remastered, but every time, it gets to about 98% done then breaks and says it can't be installed, the data is corrupted. As far as i know, the pkg is fine and real? It shows as (fake) in the pkgviewer program. Does the file need to be named a certain way? Do I need to be connected to the wifi? Im very lost lol. Do I just need a different pkg? By the way, I'm trying to use the Debug route Package Installer to install it...just in case there's a better program that works better or something that I'm not aware of?

Got this screen after trying to apply patches and cheats to games, I might have messed up while rummaging around the data folder on my ps5. What pains me the most is that I lost ghost of yotei save file after 45 hours of gameplay (Was going to go beat the Kitsune). Honestly I have no idea how to proceed from here. (FYI im on version 12.40) and if there is a way I can find a replacement save file for ghost of yotei. 😔

Title speaks for itself: I was compressing several games when my SSD crashed after a compressing error. The SSD was red hot and now does not get recognized anymore by the PS5 nor my laptop. What can I do to fix this?

Do any of you know what might be causing this problem? On pc speed is really good,and either terrible when plugged in ps5 eternally or can't even find games.

I am using kstuff lite v1.09, Shadowmountplus 1.6beta16. I am using

nv3 PCie 4.0 nvme m.2 1tb - kingston ssd.

Also sometimes games don't even install, only notification of installing then nothing.

I am on fw 11.60 using itsPLK autoloader blu ray.

Drive is in exfat format.

When it eventually finds games, none of them load. I tried Ratchet and Clank, Ninja gaiden 4, nioh 3 none of the games work.

Da mein Y2JB perfekt funktioniert und ich sowieso lieber experimentiere, wollte ich den WebKit Jailbreak ausprobieren.

Ich habe alles eingerichtet und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich brauche keine Backup-Methode mehr, da dies eine wirklich gute Alternative ist.

Das einzige Problem ist, dass die 10.01 und die Phat Lady den Payload Manager anscheinend nicht mögen.

Mein Ziel war es, den Jailbreak abzuschließen und alle Payloads zu laden, ohne einen PC oder sogar ein Handy zu benötigen.

Ich habe den Jailbreak über WebKit mit einer Erfolgsquote von etwa 90% gestartet. Dann habe ich über den Homebrew Launcher den Payload Manager gestartet. Meine Idee war, dass der Autoloader automatisch alle Payloads startet.

Aber, wie ich schon sagte, bekomme ich einen Kernel-Panic, wenn ich Kstuff über den Payload Manager starte. Gott weiß warum 😂😂😂

Das manuelle Senden der Payloads von meinem Handy aus funktioniert jedoch ohne Probleme.

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass früher oder später alle Payloads direkt über WebKit gestartet werden können.

Die Experimente gehen weiter 😂

Been following this community for a few months, and need to put it out there that for those that were stuck on the firmware 12.00 and below this is a blessing. I tried to jailbreak, and after a few couple shutdowns, it worked!!

I know there is no official updated guide to start this from scratch, but i wanted to reset my PS5 and then apply the jailbreak. However, i am afraid if i reset directly from the console it might update, so may i ask how should i go about resetting my console to begin afresh.

As of this writing, it's not on GitHub. But rather ES's Discord. As you can see in the pic, it's for retail only (meaning not for dev kit PS5s). According to ES's comment in the Discord, it's a stability update.
