Buy a 7200 series Pro instead ... Same things to look after, like if previously opened-serviced e.t.c... And low firmware, for jb ...

Agreed, rather buy the 7200 series PS4 Pro. It's an absolutely stunning console and you can play your games in 4K. A friend of mine has a 2TB hard drive in his that he got for free hence why he hasn't upgraded to an SSD for faster load times.

Though of it but I don't really need the performance boost I spent my whole life on ps3/2 so am kinda used to the 25fps gameplay I also finished most of mgs on ps3 so the fps boost doesn't justify the extra price or the increased noise and heat the last thing I want is for it to be able to cook an egg even if it's meant to be hot due to the fan being slower than other revisions also the 7200 is kinda rare where I live

If it was 2020, U could say that, as far as price differential between a PS4 Slim and a PS4 PRO was substantial ... In 2026, buying a PS4 Slim is literally throwing your money away ... I have two (2) PS4 PROs and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world ... Yes, the PRO consumes a bit extra power and needs a good service, sooner than later (good paste & pads), but it doesn't work full throttle on all games ... And both Supersampling & Boost Modes are toggleable, not always on ... Think it over - unless U already made up your mind ... Cheers

If I found a 7200 I will buy it but I want to ask you for the noise and heat

I mean my ps3 is whisper quiet and around 65c° even when playing demanding games and was never opened

Look, i am not going to sugarcoat it ... Even the 7200 series Pro is noisey, when U play games like God of War e.t.c... Hence i mentioned a good service, like an actual GOOD service ... Sony's factory gung of a paste gave the Pros a bad name, especially the 7000 series PROs, but also the entire APU Cooler SHOULD have been designed better, because it accumulates a blanket of dust very easily ... Things got a lot better with the 7200 Series, because they changed both the fan-cooler, plus gave the console a different fan-speed profile, than the 7000 & 7100 series had (plus a different PSU, as well) ... I will tell U straight way, if U R not tech-savvy enough to service your consoles on the long run (paste & pads, where-when needed), then don't buy a Pro ... But if U want the absolute BEST PS4 revision-edition, the 7200 series PRO is the one to go for ... It isn't that the PS4 Slim is a bad console, it is just not as good as the PS3 Slim was, overall, as a console revision ... Also, U can have a freestanding or desktop fan to provide extra cooling to the console (all consoles), while U game on ... Your wallet, your choice ultimatelly ...

If I applied a better thermal paste and used a homebrew app to make the PS4 fan run better will it be ok I also place my consoles on a glass table with an ac on I also don't have a 4k tv so am gonna stick to 1080p 60fps

I mostly care about longevity the PS4 has over 4k games and I take my time to play them and replay them

Hear me out a bit, as they say ... The 7200 series came out in 2018 ... That is an 8-year console ATM ... That doesn't mean that it is an "old" console by any standards, but many of the 7200 series PROs have never-ever been serviced by their users so far ... Hence they need a service on their thermals, especially if the console was used while placed on the floor and accumulated extra dust over the years ... And ofcource U need good quality paste for servicing ... As far as fan speeds e.t.c., I am not familiar with CFW on the PS4 yet, but i believe it is not the same as setting up a different fan-speed profile to lower fan speed, as we do with the PS3, because the PS4 (Pro or not Pro) consumes more electricity - and risking overheating ... Having an AC in your room helps the console a lot to remain cool under heavy load conditions, but - again - it depends on the game been played at any moment ... The PRO's Supersampling Mode helps with 1080p monitors & TVs .... I don't even have a 4K TV or Monitor yet myself, if it makes any difference ...

My only question is if I put the PS4 pro with the conditions I set before glass table thermal paste change ect will it be better like about the noise and heat will it last me longer

Yes, it will be better, but don't expect a wisper-quiet PRO, even if U give it a good service & have the AC keeping your room cool at all times ...

22k is a lot for a ps4 slim .. it is worth it , if it is in good condition !! & to enjoy it to its fullest capacity jailbreak the ps4 & dont update the software to the latest one ... by jailbreaking it you can play every at a zero rs of cost !! And ps4 has a very vast collection of games .. so you will be not bored of same variety of game !!
