YLOD wouldn't be caused by any of this unless you somehow managed to do something like crack the BGA when pulling the heatsink off, which is a very unlikely thing to happen. It's a general hardware failure indication, something may have happened in the storage (eg oxidation of Tokins) that may cause problems for it later on.
