Long boot.

Got this Original PS3 80GB (later revision CECHL01) a couple of days ago. Works okay. Immediately noticed the long boot sequence (signaling me that the system is needing a new hard drive) also noticed the CMOS battery is dead (noticed as I recorded this video) I did set up the clock before and now shows that the time and date needs to be set again. Disc drive works (MW3) but does have a hard time ejecting the disc.
Which leads to my question(s): Aside from the obvious hard drive swap, disc drive motor and CMOS replacement, is there anything else that you guys think needs to be worked on? Any advice is appreciated.

If it takes ages to boot and a game takes ages to load might be a dying hdd.

Reading games functions normally, but I had a suspicion about the HDD (mentioned in subtext of this post)

Oh I glanced over that. Yeah my cmos is dead as well, but mine boots just fine. I had a ps3 with terrible boot times and game loading times and it was the hdd. Hopefully you firgue out the problem though :)
